State-of-the-Art Facilities at Rana Pratap Girls College

At Rana Pratap Girls College, we provide a range of modern and well-equipped facilities to enhance the learning experience and foster the personal growth of our students. Our campus is designed to support both academic excellence and extracurricular development.

Education Technology Laboratory

The lab is well-equipped with a variety of audio-visual aids to support effective teaching. These include an LCD projector, OHP, slide projector, 16mm film projector, epidiascope, color TV, VCR/VCP, fax machine, tape recorder, electronic typewriter, camcorder, camera, and video cassettes for instructional use. Additionally, the lab offers audio cassettes on Panini’s grammar and a set of 40 CDs designed to aid in the speaking and teaching of Sanskrit, produced by the National Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi.
Moreover, a wide range of transparencies is available to support teaching across various subjects. These teaching aids are regularly used by both faculty and trainees during micro-teaching, demonstration lessons, classroom teaching, criticism lessons, and practical exams.

Computer Laboratory

To familiarize trainees with the latest educational technology and the application of computers in education, the college has a well-equipped computer lab with the following facilities:
10 computers
Broadband internet access
Printers (Laser, Desktop, and Dot Matrix)
UPS
Whiteboard
The computer lab is adequately equipped, allowing trainees to regularly practice and develop lessons using books and CDs produced by renowned companies like Intel.

Art and Music Room

In line with the college's commitment to the all-round development of its trainees, a dedicated Art and Music Room is provided, fully equipped with a variety of musical instruments, including a band setup for 10 students. This facility allows students to engage in both individual and group musical activities, fostering creativity and teamwork. The instruments are used for various events, such as the college prayer, Vanshala (morning assembly), the Annual Function, and other cultural activities and competitions organized throughout the academic year.
The Art and Music Room serves as a vibrant space for students to practice, perform, and refine their musical talents. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to explore different musical genres, enhance their skills, and participate in cultural performances, thus contributing to the overall cultural life of the college. Through these activities, students not only nurture their artistic abilities but also develop confidence, collaboration, and discipline.

Library

The library houses over four thousand books covering a wide range of subjects, including Education, Educational Psychology, School Management, Educational Technology, Educational Research, History, Politics, Religion, Ethics, Philosophy, and Literature (Sanskrit, Hindi, and English). It also includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, and books on optional subjects, along with special reference materials for teaching and research.Additionally, the library subscribes to a variety of newspapers, magazines, and journals, including:
